From San Diego's life-sciences lab boom (3.6 million square feet under construction, roughly 16% of the entire nation's life-science construction pipeline) to the Inland Empire's sprawling logistics campuses in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, general contractors and developers across San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties need a design/build partner who can engineer structured cabling, fire alarm, and security systems into the building from the first set of drawings, not bolt them on after the fact.

Los Angeles and Orange County bring their own specialized build-out demands. LA's entertainment industry -- which supports more than 325,000 jobs across roughly 15,000 businesses region-wide -- is constantly building and re-fitting soundstages, post-production suites, and screening rooms, and studios increasingly require these spaces to be built to Trusted Partner Network (TPN) content-security standards from the start: segmented cabling pathways, access-controlled edit bays, and CCTV coverage that satisfies a formal MPA audit, not a generic office build. LA County's fragmented hospital market -- Cedars-Sinai, Kaiser, UCLA Health, Providence, MemorialCare, and Huntington Health among the largest systems -- also keeps our fire alarm, life-safety, and access-control crews busy on hospital wings, medical office buildings, and outpatient facility build-outs across the county. In Orange County, Irvine's medtech and biotech corridor -- home to Edwards Lifesciences, Masimo, and a cluster of device manufacturers generating an estimated $8.2 billion in regional economic output -- needs cleanroom-adjacent structured cabling and access control engineered around FDA-regulated manufacturing and R&D space, plus AV design/build for corporate campuses at companies like Broadcom and Pacific Life that keep expanding around Irvine Spectrum and the John Wayne Airport business corridor.
The Inland Empire remains the single strongest low-voltage market in our eight-county footprint, and the scale keeps growing: Prologis alone operates roughly 85 million square feet of Inland Empire warehouse space, Amazon is completing a 4.1-million-square-foot facility near Ontario that will be its largest in the world, and Ontario International Airport's HUB Logistics Complex is adding nine new buildings to its air-cargo campus. Every one of these projects needs structured cabling for warehouse management systems, CCTV for cargo-theft prevention, access control for dock and perimeter security, and a WiFi design/build process built around real RF site surveys -- metal-frame, high-ceiling buildings this size don't forgive an off-the-shelf install. New construction in San Bernardino County's foothill communities -- Yucaipa, Highland, Rancho Cucamonga, and San Bernardino itself, where an estimated 53% of buildings now sit in a high wildfire-risk zone under the state's updated 2025 hazard maps -- also has to meet stricter Wildland-Urban Interface fire code requirements, which raises the bar on fire alarm design and, in qualifying buildings, ERRCS coverage from day one of design.
