This tool produces a preliminary, non-binding budgetary estimate for planning purposes only. It is not a fire alarm shop drawing or engineered design, is not stamped or sealed by a licensed engineer, and must not be submitted to any Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), fire marshal, or building department for plan check, permit, or approval. Device count, placement, spacing, panel zoning, notification-appliance candela/spacing, and battery sizing must be determined by a licensed fire protection engineer or qualified fire alarm designer per the applicable edition of NFPA 72 as adopted and amended by the State of California and your local jurisdiction, and approved by the AHJ before any installation or construction begins.
