MYTEK PROS / CONNECTED OPERATIONS

Off-Grid and Temporary-Site Video

Bring scoped visual coverage to locations where permanent power or cabling is difficult.

Plan your project

01 / THE OPPORTUNITY

Plan the power budget before the camera.

Two people wearing hard hats review paperwork beside an outdoor solar-panel array.

Construction managers, remote-site operators and facilities teams

Remote video depends on more than a camera. Seasonal solar input, battery demand, mobile coverage and the cost of moving video all affect what can be delivered. Mytek Pros can start with the desired event and reporting outcome, then size the deployment around real site conditions.

Solar, battery and cellular options can support temporary projects, isolated equipment compounds and changing site layouts.

  • Add visibility without assuming a new cable trench or permanent internet circuit.
  • Match data use and energy demand to the site purpose.
  • Keep remote-site health and event gaps visible to the operator.

APPLICATIONS IN PRACTICE

Yards, compounds and temporary storage.

Illustrative scenarios for facilities teams and operators.

03 / FROM SIGNAL TO RESPONSE

From observation to action.

Define the signal, the connection and the person responsible for the next step.

View measurements & event details
  • Observed device reachability and reporting gaps
  • Reviewable events or planned snapshot availability
  • Cellular data use where exposed by the network
  • Battery and power status where the selected system exposes them

Proposed service workflow

Connect the temporary site with visible dependencies

  1. Observe

    Site devices and connection health

  2. Connect locally

Site router; sensor gateway where needed

  3. Collect securely

Proposed authorized collection and remote access

  4. Review and act

    Responsible team reviews device/link events

  5. Keep a record

    Service history and connectivity observations

Optional backup uplink: Independent coverage, supported failover and commissioned recovery test

Conceptual workflow. Devices, integrations, notification rules and retention are confirmed during design. Coverage, carrier/SIM plan, power budget, antenna placement, weather and site security must be surveyed. Video does not travel over a LoRaWAN sensor link.

A DEFINED SERVICE SCOPE

What Mytek Pros can help deliver.

Mytek Pros can assess off-grid video for construction yards, isolated compounds and temporary sites in San Diego and elsewhere in California. Power calculations, cellular coverage and recording priorities define feasible event, snapshot or scheduled operation. Mounting, relocation checks, data use, installation and support are confirmed during discovery.

Explore service planning for San Diego and California projects. Installation, handover and ongoing support are agreed during discovery for the selected equipment and site.

View planned service deliverables
  • Survey solar exposure, mounting, access for maintenance and cellular coverage.
  • Choose continuous, scheduled or event-led operation appropriate to the selected equipment.
  • Set recording and transmission priorities within the power and data budget.
  • Plan relocation, cleaning, battery checks and a useful service-report cadence.

THE RECORD YOU KEEP

Your reporting scope.

A proposed site report can show event highlights, maintenance findings, communication gaps and available power or data indicators. Construction progress comparisons can be prepared from agreed views and capture schedules; automated time-lapse or project-percent-complete analysis requires a separate validated scope.

Operating boundaries

Solar equipment is not an unlimited-power guarantee. Runtime and transmission depend on conditions and selected operating modes. A low-power sensing unit must not be marketed as continuous high-frame-rate surveillance.

04 / DISCOVERY & DESIGN

Before installation.

Confirm compatibility, placement and operating responsibilities for your site.

What we’ll work through

  • Site-specific energy calculation and mounting approval
  • Compatible SIM, cellular bands, carrier plan and antennas
  • Local storage and tested event/snapshot delivery
  • Accessible power telemetry if it is included in reports

Share your site and existing systems to discuss the installation scope.
